Estimator


Stewart left school and joined 3b construction on our graduate training programme. He attended university funded by 3b construction whilst enjoying work experience with the company. Stewart is now fully qualified with an honours degree and has embarked on his full-time career with 3b construction. Stewart is now developing a team of estimators and supporting junior members of staff through their training.

Lorna McColm

Accounts Administrator


Lorna joined 3b construction straight from school in September 2016. Lorna embarked on her professional accounts training a year after joining the company and has attained her AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting which was fully funded by 3b construction. Lorna is now working towards her AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Lorna says “3b construction has allowed me to develop my confidence and I enjoy the benefits of working full time and getting paid as well as attaining my professional qualification”.

Scott Allan

Site Manager


Scott joined 3b construction as an apprentice joiner in 2005 and is one of our longest serving employees. He completed his joinery apprenticeship 4 years later. Scott has worked as a joiner on various significant projects for 3b construction gaining experience in all aspects of building. Scott progressed to Foreman and more recently Contracts Manager. He has recently successfully delivered our Coo Palace project and is now leading our Wildland project. Scott says “the sky is the limit with 3b construction, all you need to do is work hard and be prepared to learn”.

Quantity Surveyor

3b construction Ltd is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in our technical office near Ayr. The main purpose of the role is to manage and control all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the designated projects in order to control and maximise the company’s profitability, protect the companies legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage pro-actively the control of all commercial issues.
