3b Construction delivers reinforced concrete works as part of a fully integrated construction service, supporting projects from earthworks and substructure through to superstructure and fit out. Our RC capability plays a central role in major energy, industrial and commercial developments across the UK and Ireland. We are experienced in managing technically demanding structures, complex sequencing and high specification requirements, often operating as Principal Contractor and taking full responsibility for programme, coordination and quality. Our approach is practical, engineering led and focused on safe, predictable delivery. The Moat Brae project in Dumfries was delivered as a specialist subcontract package to Balfour Beatty, demonstrating our ability to integrate effectively within Tier 1 project teams.

Peri Shuttering & Access
We have invested significantly in Peri shuttering and access systems to ensure safe, efficient and high quality delivery of reinforced concrete works. Our in-house systems include Peri Trio shutters, Peri Multiprop and GT24 beams for deck slabs, and Peri Up scaffolding and access stairs. This investment strengthens programme control, improves quality assurance and reduces reliance on external suppliers. Fromretaining walls and circular tanks to basement structures, lift cores and heavy duty slabs, we deliver engineered solutions tailored to each project.
Reinforced Concrete Expertise
Our reinforced concrete portfolio includes circular biogas tanks with 8 metre high walls, waterproof basements adjacent to listed buildings, in situ stairs and lift cores, CHP plant turbine slabs on spring mounts, underground car parks, energy centres, silo bases with conveyor tunnels and hybrid precast and in situ tunnel solutions. We also deliver heavy duty slabs designed for significant axle loadings, specialist foundations, walking floor structures and complex substructures. Every project is delivered with detailed planning, technical precision and a clear focus on durability, safety and long term performance.
