A quality civil engineering and building contractor

New Contracts Awarded

3b construction are currently working on a number of new projects in Dumfries and Galloway and South Ayrshire. The next six months will be the busiest since the company began in 2004 with various prestigious contracts being undertaken by our Civils and Housebuilding teams.

Our Housebuilding division is currently involved in building a number of new family homes as well as various refurbishment and extension works. More notable projects include building   two large carbon neutral eco houses, one near Moniaive and  the other near Penpont, Thornhill. We are also building a luxurious and totally unique house in Maidens where the superstructure is almost complete and internal works have begun. 

The Civils division has just completed a large project for the Scottish Agricultural College at Easter Howgate Farm near Penicuik and in Dumfries and Galloway we are currently working on various Dairy Units. These major contracts will be completed over the Summer and Autumn along with a number of silage pits and cubicle buildings.

Dairy Parlours and Agricultural building

3b construction are currently working on a number of large agricultural projects. These include construction of new dairy parlours, slurry storage and livestock buildings. Our experienced team can provide a complete service completing projects on time and to budget.

Deepstone - Award Winning Project

3b construction along with Simon Winstanley Architects have won the Saltire Society Housing Design Award 2009 for a new house which has been named Deepstone. 3b construction also received a Good Building Award – Commendation for the quality of construction on Deepstone from the Chartered Institute of Building.
