The components are relatively lightweight and can be easily transported to more remote locations for assembly on site. This is particularly important to our business in South West Scotland.

During a trees lifetime it removes many tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere.

It is estimated that every cubic metre of timber used instead of other building materials saves on average 0.8 tonnes of CO2 emissions from the atmosphere, a typical 100m2 two storey timber frame house contains 5-6m3 more wood than the equivalent masonry house.
This can result in a saving of 4-5 tonnes CO2 depending on timber frame specification.
