The ethos of 3b construction is to offer a fully integrated, in-house service, to carry out our construction works. With this fully integrated approach to contract delivery we can exert better control over delivery and achieve better efficiency and quality in a safer environment. This in turn provides our clients with a more reliable and cost-effective delivery of their projects.
Industry Accreditation
3b construction are registered with NHBC and all of our developments will comply with NHBC standards and will be eligible to be covered under NHBC’s Buildmark scheme.
As a company we are also registered under the Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers Federation. Our qualified plumbers work has been inspected and tested to ensure that this body’s rigorous standards are both met and exceeded.
Our business is registered with Corgi to ensure that any gas installation carried out by our employees is done safely and to industry standard.
We have recently become members of SELECT. This is a scheme provider appointed by the Scottish Building Standards Agency to establish the competence of electrical contractors.
3b construction believes the creation of these accreditation bodies is extremely important to ensure consumer confidence in the construction industry; as a company we are committed to constantly updating and improving our employees skills.
Quality
3b construction has in place an Integrated Management System that demonstrates our commitment to quality. We have procedures in place from initial contact through to handover of every project. We are currently in the process of having our systems and procedures audited to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000. We aim to achieve this accreditation in the near future.
Training
3b construction continually invest in training for their workforce to ensure they are suitably qualified and operate in a safe manner on all construction sites. Recent training courses include - road & street works (operative and supervisor), plant training, slinger/signaller, scaffold inspection and sign-off, appointed persons.
3b construction also employ trade apprentices each year in joinery, plumbing, electrical, bricklaying and plastering to ensure our skilled workforce continues to grow.
